RISD Council of PTAs Used Book Fair

The RISD Council of PTAs Used Book Fair began in 1982 and provides funds for the RISD Council of PTAs. Proceeds from the bookfair support scholarships for graduating seniors and continuing education for teachers, in addition to supporting our local PTAs.

Council Delegates from local RISD PTAs coordinate the collection, sorting, and delivery of gently used books and other items such as DVDs, comic books, board games & video games. It takes the effort of volunteers at all levels of local and council PTAs to make this project the successful fundraiser and community service that it is.

used book fair training

We are in the process of uploading brand new UBF training, in the form of a 3 min intro video that demonstrates how to properly sort and box your books, as well as a totally revamped training slide presentation that drills down into the nitty-gritty.  And as always, you can reach out to Ronson Page with any questions.  Once each part is available, the links below will be live.

(The slide presentation is in three parts, due to upload size restrictions.  We call this a workaround, folks.)
